Individuals who feel they are at risk of developing diabetes should increase the intake of these foods.

Fiber intake also reduces the risk of developing diabetes. Foods containing high fiber usually contain less sugar. People who have diabetes or are at risk of developing diabetes can not process sugar properly. Individuals at risk should diabates increase fiber intake. They should take more vegetables, fruits, whole grain products and grain products pure pure. Intake of white sugar and foods high in white sugar must be reduced. You need to replace the food with high fiber.

Furthermore, patients with diabetes who drink even a little alcohol is likely to damage the eyes and nerves. Apart from alcohol, smoking should also be avoided to be safe from getting diabetes. Smoking increases the risk of heart disease, kidney disease and other health problems associated with diabetes. Smokers are more prone to diabetes than non-smokers. So if you smoke, stop these habits for the health of themselves and their families. If you do not smoke, avoid yourself from the habit.

Exercise protects you from diabetes

The two types of diabetes (type 1 and 2) can be prevented or improved by always doing light exercises. The facts show that individuals with type 1 diabetes, who exercise regularly, require less insulin. While healthy individuals who exercise regularly are likely not going to get type 2 diabetes. Why exercise reduces body fat and thus improving the body's sensitivity to insulin status.

Exercise need not be strenuous exercise, particularly if it is older. Simple exercises such as walking, running, swimming and cycling can improve blood sugar levels. Exercise improves glucose utilization by the muscles. The effect will remain for more than two days. Blood lipid profile and blood pressure affect diabetes will also improve with regular exercise.
